About Sandy Carter
Sandy Carter started raising French bulldogs over 7+ ago, not as a business, but because she fell in love with the breed. What began with a single pair has grown into a small family program where every litter is raised at home, under the same roof.
Every puppy spends its first weeks surrounded by family: handled daily, introduced to sounds and routines, and given the kind of early socialization that a kennel setting cannot replicate. By the time a puppy is ready to go home, they are already comfortable around people.
Carter French Bulls is a family operation. When you reach out, you speak with Sandy directly. She will answer your questions honestly, including the ones that might make the sale less likely — because placing a puppy in the wrong home is worse than not placing it at all.

How we raise our puppies
At home, not in a kennel
Every litter is raised inside our home. The puppies grow up with the noise, smells, and rhythms of daily family life, which makes them calmer and more adaptable when they go to yours.
Handled from day one
We handle the puppies daily from birth. This early human contact shapes their temperament in ways that cannot be undone or faked later.
Health first
We vaccinate, deworm, and microchip every puppy before they leave us. Each puppy is examined by a licensed vet. These are not extras. They are what responsible breeding looks like.
Honest conversations
We will tell you if one of our puppies is not the right fit for your home. A French bulldog is a commitment. We want it to go well for you and for the dog.
